  • 2025 WDC Summit: is brain health the answer?

    At the 2025 World Dementia Council Summit, Professor Miia Kivipelto, Sarah Lenz Lock and Dr Lucia Crivelli debated whether brain health can be the lever for preventing Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Drawing on evidence from lifestyle interventions, regional risk-factor studies and new public-policy models, they highlighted both the scale of modifiable risk and the urgent need to move from research to implementation. Their discussion underscored that brain health is not just a scientific issue but a societal one, requiring tailored action across countries and sectors to achieve real impact.
