The Alzheimer's Association, in partnership with the World Dementia Council, held Brain Health and Cognition in Latin America in Buenos Aires on 16–17 September 2026. It brought together researchers, clinicians, funders and policymakers from across Latin America and beyond. Day one looked at the U.S. POINTER and LatAm-FINGERS studies and how they are being taken into communities across the region. Day two asked what it would take to make brain health a lasting priority in Latin America.
